Bonus Games - Terms & Conditions

  Why the Bonus Games?

I have been asked by several people how they can get in on the BDGL and my usual answer is to wait until the FBR the following year.

Now, I have a better answer which also meets the demands of the hardcore BDGL'ers who bet each week.

  What are the Bonus Games?

The Bonus Games are comprised of 5, 10, 20, 50 & 100 boards. You may submit a lineup under one or all of the Boards. Your lineup(s) will compete against others who turn in lineups on the given board. These are separate from the BDGL Regular Season and open to all members and friends. Each board has 10 openings. As the boards fill, new boards will be created. The limit of 10 per board increases your overall odds.

How Many Lineups Can I Submit?

Only 1 per board. As the board fills (10 spots) a new board will be created.

Are the Rules/Scoring the Same as League Rules?

Yes and No - You will submit 4 starting golfers and 1 alternate just like the BDGL League rules. Same scoring as well. The only difference is that you may choose ANY golfer as many times as you like. Meaning Tiger is in!

  Scoring

Again, same as BDGL League Rules:

Your weekly score will be determined on where your golfers finish for the tournament on hand.

If your golfer finishes in 1st place he will receive negative 25 points (-25).
2nd place = negative 10 points (-10).
3rd place = negative 5 points (-5).
4th place = zero points.

For golfers finishing 5th thru last, they will receive the value of where they finish.
For example, a golfer finishing in 5th place will receive 5 points. 6th place will receive 6 points. 22nd place = 22 points. 56th place = 56 points. and so on....

All cut golfers will receive 100 points.

The sum of the 4 golfers is your score.

Bonus Points:
If all 4 golfers finish in top 20 you will receive a bonus of 5 points (negative 5).
If all 4 finish in top 15 you get a bonus of 10 points.
All in top 10 = bonus 20 points.
All in top 5 = bonus of 50 points.

  Tie Breakers

Alternates will break ties.

If alternate fails to break tie, alternate's Saturday finish will break tie, then Friday, then Thursday.

If still a tie, which is highly unlikely, then we will go to the 4th golfer's Saturday score, then Friday and so on.

  Payouts

There will be one winner per board. The BDGL will retain 5% of each Board played for management time.

Again, all debts will be settled at the Bonanza!! or via mail by August 30th. I expect the same from you.

Seriously, I could win 1000 every week ??

Yes! That's if 9 other guys and yourself are willing to pony up a lineup on the 100 board!
I expect at most 2 or 3, if any, will play the 100 board, so a chance to win 200 on a 1 out of 3 is really not bad at all!

What if Im the only one that plays?

If you are the only one that enters a lineup on a given board, then the board will be void. At least 2 different lineups must be submitted on a board to be valid.

   How do I pony up?

You will settle debts at the Bonanza or mail it to me prior to August 16th.
