West Is The Best
Former 2004 Gleason Holder (seems like yesterday) Randy West has taken the PODS by the hair of his chinny chin chin.
After finishing 2nd last year, he bounces back and wins this year.
That's right, our favorite Porn Star grabs his 7th lifetime victory by beating out Schramm in a tie breaker.
Each of them had all four in the top 20, earning a 10 point bonus and tied at 22 points a piece. But it came down to the alterates,
both of which missed the cut. So based on the rule, we go back to last weeks placing which shows
Randy finishing in 7th where Pat finished 15th. So congrats Randy for not only taking the PODS, but for also taking
over 1st place overall, both scoring and power. You told me you were on a mission this year to separate
yourself from the owners that "think" they are good at this (like Hayward, Houston). And you are proving just that.
Schramm is the 1st owner this year to hit the 4:1 odds by getting all four starters into the top 20. He pulls
down a nice $80 purse. The frustrating thing about it for me is that this is Pat's first bet of the year.
and hopefully, his last. Congrats Pat - a little solace in your heartbreaking, tie breaking loss.
Other news shows Jenkins reversing his path. He has slid from 5th dropping steadily.
But finally this week has bounced
back and is now up the leader board 4 spots to 21st. See

Speaking of Sliding. It has been about a month since I was bombarded with emails regarding this particular owner's stellar start.
At the time, it was soooooooo easy.
What has happened since?? Ill tell you: 31, 23, 27, 27. Those numbers represent Joe Wilson's last 4 weeks finishes.
After such a nice start too. The rookie has been creampied.
Hayward and Long, after nice finishes last week, fall hard tying at 29th with 310 points. That has to sting.
How bout Zieman, predicting a victory this week only to fall from 18th to 28th overall. Sweet stuff Billy!
Look who our new, or should I say, look who is back where he belongs!! Keyser is our Anchor and now I know all is ok
in the world again.
By the way, everybody - I apologize for not getting out updates, etc during the PODS. I was out
sick all week. Thanks for the flowers though, that was nice.
