Miles Rolls To His 2nd Victory


Rookie Miles takes his 2nd tourny in three weeks by beating Hayward by cinco points. The difference was Furyk over Phil by 2 strokes. All 5 of his golfers finished in the top 20 which earned him 5:1 odds on his $20 bet resulting in $100. Add the $25 for the weekly win and Miles has earned himself $233 for the 2nd quarter. Nice going Miles!

Kamolz wins the 2nd quarter by 110 over our Sheriff & 1st quarter winner, Randy West. He almost won this week but like Hayward, fell 5 points short. Kamolz only had 1 week where he did not finish in the top ten during the 2nd quarter. Overall he has 8 top ten finishes which is tied for 2nd best. He also has finished 27th 4 times which is wierd. Take away those 4 finishes and this owner is in 1st place. Nice going Kamolz on getting your 1st Quarterly Ring and the $200 that goes with it.

Hayward falls just short of a BDGL record in getting his 3rd title of the same tourny. He also had the pleasure watching Ogilvy collapse which cost him his 10:1 odds. So instead of me saying Hayward won $80, Ill say he actually lost $120 and kept his winless streak alive. I will give him props on the 5 top 5 finishes he has this year. Tied with Martin for the lead in that category.

Other news shows the house taking a bath this week as several owners won big money. The house was worried earlier in the week after seeing the stellar field the Wachovia had to offer. The house is even more worried as the field for the Players was just posted. This could be a harsh May.
