Hayward Prevails!


Now on to what West feared the most. Hayward has overcome West's 21 consecutive weeks in 1st place and has taken the 2008 Gleason by only 41 points. West falls to 2nd overall but really, it may as well be last. This is Hayward's 2nd Championship in only 5 years. Get ready everybody who is going to be at the Bonanza, because the shit that's gonna fly that day will be thick. Congrats Dave, you are our new 2008 Champion. Martin, please place the coat on Mr Hayward.

3rd and 4th place battle came down to only 1 point as Kamolz holds off Brown 5,305 t 5,306. Are you kidding me!!!?? Congrats to the Rookie Brown for having a nice show his initial year. We may have to get used to him up there in the rankings in the future.

Risser, after a disappointing last couple weeks, barely holds on to 5th place with the surging Wilson only 11 points off. Im not sure how Risser would have taken it if he didn't at least finish in the top 5, so Im happy for him with that. Wilson on the other hand, a top 5 finish would have been impressive.

Rounding out the top 10 in the BDGL is Wilson, Miles, Long, Siders and Martin. A top ten finish in a league of 33 is worth mentioning.

Now to 4th Quarter Ring results. Wilson wasn't about to let his British luck get him down as he runs away with the 4th quarter. He beat Long by 216 with Hayward, Siders and Castelein rounding out the top 5. Wilson averaged an impressive and league leading 4th place in all the Majors. Nice going Dave on taking your 1st ring!
